The children's programs are administered by Sue Davey.

The children's programs include, but are not limited to the following:

• Sacramental Preparation (Holy Communion & Reconciliation)

The Religious Education Program runs Weekly from September through May.
Kindergarten - 5th Grade classes are held:

Monday	3:15 - 4:15 p.m.
Tuesday	3:15 - 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday	3:15 - 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday	9 - 10 a.m.

Pre-School & Kindergarten classes for children ages 3, 4 and 5 are held Sunday during the 9 a.m. Mass.

R.E. Calendar for 2009-10

First Communions will take place on these dates:

Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 12:15 PM Mass

Children are encouraged to attend the Children's Masses that are held occasionally at the 5 p.m. Saturday Mass. Different grades are scheduled to host each Mass. The schedule for this year's chidren Masses are as follows:

October 24, 2009 - 4th and 5th Graders

January 30, 2010 - 2nd and 3rd Graders

March 6, 2010 - 1st and 3rd Graders

Children in grades K-3rd grade are invited to leave the church before the first reading and hear the Scripture from the Children’s Lectionary and learn what the readings mean in their lives. The children return to the church after the homily for the completion of Mass.

Liturgy of the word is offered at the Sat. 5:00 p.m. Mass, and the Sun. 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Masses.

The Religious Education Handbook explains the St. Margaret Mary Religious Education Program for children through the 5th grade in detail. Please contact the RE office for a copy.

The Religious Education office has many resources including over 800 books and several dozen videos and DVDs that can be checked out or used for teaching R.E. classes.
