The 11th Annual Scholarship Fund Mega-GARAGE SALE, sponsored by the Sharing Parish Committee, will be held on Friday, August 6 (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM) and Saturday, August 7, 2010 (8:00 AM to Noon. You can help by donating new and gently used items, such as clothing, jewelry, linens, books, CDs, tapes/DVDs, toys, housewares, small appliances, and electronics. Furniture pickup may be arranged. A special pre-sale, for parishioners only, will take place on Thursday, August 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Volunteers are needed throughout the week. It's fun. And it's for a good cause. It's a great opportunity for service hours. All proceeds from the sale will help provide scholarships for students from our sharing parishes in Aurora to attend parochial schools in their community. Many hands are needed during this week to make the event a success.

Young Adults in their 20s and 30s are cordially invited to the annual summer theology program, sponsored by the Diocese of Joliet, Theology on Tap. From July 6 through August 7, engaging and expert speakers will present on a variety of topics, and join in conversation with young adults, on all Sunday through Thursday evenings, at various sites throughout the diocese. A total of 22 events are planned. The program begins on July 6 with a kick-off event featuring Bishop J. Peter Sartain, at Benedictine University, 5700 College Road, in Lisle.
