The Building Expansion Committee (BEC) has been working diligently to convert your ‘Renew the Heart’ pledges into a new multipurpose gathering space to enhance and enlarge our already excellent parish programs.

The addition will be two stories and complementary to the existing worship space.

The first drawing shows a view of our expansion as it will look from the narthex courtyard.

The expansion will be built directly off of the current main church entrance. The first floor of the addition, shown on the architectural drawing on the right, will include a modified church entrance, an expanded lobby/library to mingle and a warm expansive gathering space a little less than twice the size of the COR center which will be able to accommodate about 170 folks at round tables. The gathering space will have a kitchenette. New restrooms in the lobby will include a separate bride’s room.

The lower floor (on the same level as the Parish Center) will house new administrative staff offices and a staff meeting room. The main entrance to the new offices will be via an airy glass vestibule built onto the existing doors to the Parish Center in the Narthex courtyard. The new administrative floor give staff more up to date work spaces and allows the RE staff to move and consolidate their offices in the existing education wing. Current RE offices in the Parish Center will be converted to an enlarged Teen Center.
