Renew the Heart Campaign
Renew the Heart Campaign

The Renew the Heart Capital Campaign was initiated in 2002 to seek funding for two major capital projects, the construction of a new wing to the St. Margaret Mary facility; and, in participation with other local parishes, to begin a regional Catholic school in Naperville.

The new wing was constructed in 2007-2008, and opened in September 2008. The upper level of the new wing includes a new foyer, and a large new gathering space called the Upper Room. On the lower level, new offices for church staff were built. With renovation and reconfiguration, a new Teen Center was created in the lower level of the original facility.

The new regional school, All Saints Catholic Academy, on 1155 Aurora Avenue in Naperville opened in September 2005, and now educates many students in the Naperville area, from Pre-K through 8th grade. Please see the All Saints Academy website for more information.

Our parish is deeply grateful for the generosity of so many persons for making these projects become a reality. The parish has collected about $2.78 million over the course of the campaign.

However, the parish still has a balance of $1.8 million (as of July 2011) as a loan from the Diocese of Joliet for its participation in All Saints Academy. The parish currently requires contributions of over $100,000 each year from its operating budget to service this loan. Contributions made to the campaign will make a real difference to St. Margaret Mary.
