Children typically receive First Holy Communion as part of their Second Grade Religious Education class.

A parent meeting is held in late January, a combinded child and parent(s) meeting is held in February, and a mini-retreat for the children is held in March.

For the 2007 - 2008 school year, the dates are as follows:

January 29 and 30, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Parish Center. At least 1 parent/guardian must attend one of these Parent Meetings.

February 26 and 27, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Parent and child meeting in the Parish Center. May attend either date.

March 15, 10:15 a.m. - 1 p.m. Mini-retreat in the Parish Center.

First Holy Communion Dates for 2008:

Sunday, April 20, 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.*

Sunday, April 27, 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.*

*PLEASE NOTE: The usual 12:15 p.m. Mass will be moved to 12:45 p.m. on the two First Communion weekends.
